Drone 280 Manual

Welcome to the Hive! The Drone 280 is a two-person setup tent with an Inner Tent and a Rainfly Patio. Watch the step by step tutorial or follow along with the written instructions below.

Setup Instructions

Inner Tent Setup:

1. Spread out the Drone 280 Inner Tent and locate the roof joint which is a black connecting joint with an orange tethering loop.

2. Locate joint on pole leg. Push the upper joint (closest to the roof) inward into the locked position. Lower joint should automatically extend outwards so entire pole takes a curved shape. Repeat on all sides.

Rainfly Setup

3. Unfurl rainfly and locate rear, side doors (with red lining), and front door (with large gray door panel). Line up with front of Inner Tent.

4. Place rear of rainfly on top of Inner Tent. Secure rainfly hooks onto bottom corners of Inner Tent. The side patio door (with red lining) and front patio door (with gray door panel) should be hanging in front of the Inner Tent.

5. Connect black poles. You should have two leg poles with pointed ends and one corded pole with silver connections.

6. Locate rainfly patio intersection joint. Insert leg pole with rubber stopper end into the intersection joint. Attach rainfly patio clips onto leg pole. Insert tip of leg pole into metal ring at base of rainfly.

7. Enlist the help of another person to hold the upright leg pole. Repeat on other side so both leg poles are connected to rainfly patio front door.

8. Thread the corded pole through the top of the rainfly patio and insert both ends into respective intersection joints. The pole should bend slightly into a curved shape.

9. Extend orange tethering rope beneath rainfly patio intersection joint and stake down. Adjust rope tension with metal piece. Repeat on other side.

10. Extend rainfly patio front door outward and insert stake at base on both sides.
